Jeanne K Hain Wiemer
is now owner and Executive Director of the soon to open RED PATH GALLERY & Tasting Room in Seward, NE. She is a lifetime resident of Seward. In 2012 Jeanne created her own art studio in her dad's former carpenter shop in rural Seward. Jeanne’s Art Shack is a fun stopping point in the country on the entrance to Ridge Road and the Bohemian Alps in Seward County. Jeanne’s newest book “My Pleiadian Brother”, a children’s story about the Family of Starlight is now available on the Store page of this website along with her father's journal "Hooked on a Master”. This journal in honor of her dad, Cy Hain, captures his love for fishing and his natural, yet direct connection to God when he was battling cancer of the esophagus, knowing he had only six months left to live. Her ordinary life revolves around family and friends.
Jeanne is a member of the Seward Chamber of Commerce and currently member of the First Impressions & County Visitors Committee. She is current Secretary for the Nebraska Association of Bed & Breakfast and past Secretary of the Lincoln Artist Guild. In January 2013 she formed the Seward Area Artisans and Craftsmen Guild and is the current President. She is a member of the Lincoln Arts Council, John G. Neihardt Foundation, and Nebraska at the Market.
Jeanne's awards include: Winning the 2011 1st Place State Award in Sculpture with the Nebraska Mother's Association Contest. The piece winning the competition was "Guarded Heart." Jeanne's metallic photo called "I M Aquarian" won the second place "People's Choice" award at the annual LAG competition. She was recently awarded 2nd and 3rd place awards for "I M Hathor" and "I M Aquarian", her mixed media photography pieces showcasing her clothing designs at the Nebraska Book Store LAG competition.
